Latin Pop-Rockers MORAT Release New Single

MORAT, the most streamed Latin pop-rock band in the world, are back with new single “Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver,” which translates to “In Case I Don’t See You Again.” The Bogotá, Colombia band’s latest is a breezy but heartfelt guitar-driven track about the ephemeral nature of summer love. Translated to English, some of the key lyrics convey wistful sentiments about love that passes with the seasons: “In case I don’t see you again / May there be no stories left to tell / May there be no sunrise left/ Let’s freeze together in front of the sea / In case I don’t see you again.”

“As the hot weather begins to fade ‘Por si no te vuelvo a ver’ comes to tell the stories of the many summer-loves that happen every year; love stories that are as fleeting as the season but worth living in all their beautiful intensity,” MORAT say. “We really do believe that the song translates the beauty and the intensity in a way that feels nostalgic and joyful at the same time.”

“Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver” arrives with an El Cielo-directed music video that’s as bright and colorful as the song. In the clip, the members of MORAT take part in a summer beach party in a villa filled with characters inspired by the work of David Lynch. The song will appear on MORAT’s forthcoming fifth studio album. “Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver” follows April’s release of “Faltas Tú,” which boasts a memorable music video of its own and has been viewed more than 12 million times on YouTube.

MORAT recently returned to the United States to give the opening performance at the Hispanic Heritage Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. The performance will air Sept. 27 on PBS. Now the band is redirecting its attention to the “ANTES DE QUE AMANEZCA – LOS ESTADIOS” tour, a string of concerts at stadiums across Mexico and South and Central America.
