Beck will showcase a daring and different side of his kaleidoscopic creative acumen this summer, ash he prepares to embark on a limited run of orchestral performances.
For these seven nights only, Beck will perform accompanied by native orchestras in each city, delivering evenings of unique symphonic arrangements of classics and deep cuts from a towering catalog—reimagining a body of work that includes the multi-platinum Odelay, world-tripping Mutations, somber and reflective Sea Change, and Grammy Album of the Year winner Morning Phase, to name but a few.
Beck confirmed that his first-ever orchestral concert in New York City will take place July 29 at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, and will feature Beck accompanied by the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Tickets for this performance will be on sale beginning May 23 at 11am ET.
Beck’s orchestral debut at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall caps an itinerary with stops at the likes of the Hollywood Bowl, the Greek Theatre in Berkeley CA, and more. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
Last we heard from Beck was last summer, when he and and Phoenix embarked on their Summer Odyssey tour. To celebrate that run, the two groups shared the physical release of their collaborative sun-splashed banger, “Odyssey.”
The track was hailed by UPROXX as “an empowered, shimmering anthem” and by FLOOD as “a joyful slice of hedonistic disco-pop.” It was released as a limited edition yellow vinyl 7-inch single featuring the digitally released “Odyssey (Instrumental)” on its B-side.
