Maroon 5 fans, the wait is about to be over. The veteran pop-rock band has announced the pending release of new single “Priceless” this Friday, May 2. The song, Maroon 5’s first since the 2023 standalone track “Middle Ground,” pairs the band with Lisa of Blackpink.
In preview clips for “Priceless” shared on Maroon 5’s social accounts, frontman Adam Levine can be heard singing the hook “Baby, you’re priceless/ I never had anything like this/ I’m missing my head on your thighs, it’s/ All I wanna do, yeah” over a funky mid-tempo synth-driven beat with beachy overtones. Lisa raps, “Yeah, talk is cheap, boy, stop it/ Got my love, that’s a real big profit/ Diamonds, linens, flawless, yeah/ You can’t find this anywhere.”
In an April 7 visit to The Tonight Show, Levine revealed plans for a new Maroon 5 album this year, the band’s first since 2021’s Jordi. “The rumors are correct,” he told Jimmy Fallon, then proceeded to offer a vague timeline of the band’s 2025 promo calendar: “There are details. I cannot divulge all the details. But the details are basically, roughly, there’s a single coming at the end of the month-ish. I’m really excited about it. An album is coming over the summer. Non-specifically around the summertime. And then, even more non-specifically, there is a tour coming in the fall-ish.”
After years touring and recording with the massively successful K-pop group Blackpink, Lisa has been enjoying a solo breakout of late. In 2025, she has scored her highest-charting solo single to date with the Doja Cat and Raye collaboration “Born Again” (a No. 1 hit in her native Thailand), performed at the Academy Awards, and made her acting debut in the buzzy third season of HBO’s The White Lotus.
