Whitney Announce 2026 Tour, Share Video for New Song “Back to the Wind”: Watch

Whitney have shared another song from the forthcoming new album Small Talk. The new single, “Back to the Wind,” is the third preview of the album, following “Darling” and “Dandelions.” Watch the new track’s Alex Pennacchia–directed music video below.

Along with the song, Whitney have announced a series of 2026 tour dates. The shows will take place in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom. See the band’s schedule below.

In a press statement about “Back to the Wind,” Whitney’s Julien Ehrlich said, “I think what’s stuck with me most about ‘Back to the Wind’ is the way the imagery ended up unfolding across the instrumental. In the past, we’ve always insisted that each word on a lyric sheet so deliberately leads you back to the sentiment of the hook that it almost leaves no room for imagination. With ‘BTTW,’ it felt more compelling to steer the second half into a series of images that might mean something different to each person that hears it. And, since this was the first song we wrote for the record, I think it informed the way we pushed ourselves to explore and dig deeper lyrically overall. Also, [Max Kakacek’s] guitar solo goes crazy.”

Small Talk is Whitney’s fith studio album. It follows 2022’s Spark.
