André 3000 Announces New Blue Sun Live Tour

André 3000 has announced a tour in support of his surprise debut solo album. The New Blue Sun Live Tour begins later this month and stretches into March. The former Outkast musician will be joined by Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks as they all bring New Blue Sun to life. See the tour dates below.

André 3000 announced New Blue Sun just a few days before its release. He made the album with Niño, Mercereau, Botofasina, and Parks, as well as Matthewdavid, Mia Doi Todd, and others. The LP opens with a 12-minute track called “I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a ‘Rap’ Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time,” and it debuted at No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the longest song in the chart’s history.

Earlier this month, Surya Botofasina, Nate Mercereau, and Carlos Niño released a new album of their own, Subtle Movements.
