N.W.A., Laurie Anderson, Donna Summer, and More Get 2024 Lifetime Achievement Grammys


N.W.A., Laurie Anderson, and Donna Summer are set to receive 2024 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards. They will be honored at this year’s ceremony in Los Angeles on February 4 alongside fellow recipients Gladys Knight, Tammy Wynette, and the Clark Sisters.

Also announced today are this year’s Trustees Award winners (Peter Asher, DJ Kool Herc, and Joel Katz) and Technical Grammy winners (Tom Koboyashi and Tom Scott). The song “Refugee” by K’naan, Steve McEwan, and Gerald Eaton is the recipient of the Best Song for Social Change Award.

The 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients were Nirvana, the Supremes, Nile Rodgers, Slick Rick, Ma Rainey, Bobby McFerrin, and Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson.
