Kansas Anymore is an exploration of homesickness, heartbreak, and rediscovering oneself. The album follows Role Model’s 2022 debut Rx, which was led by the singles “If jesus saves, she’s my type,” “neverletyougo,” and “forever&more,” which has received over 60 million streams on Spotify.

Role Model will be bringing Kansas Anymore on the road when he joins singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams’ sold-out The Secret of Us tour, which begins September 5.

Role Model, the project of Tucker Harrington Pillsbury, began as a rap project in 2016. He soon switched to singing and shared the buzzy Arizona in the Summer EP in December 2017. The self-released collection found fans in Benny Blanco and the late Mac Miller. Role Model has dropped a steady stream of EPs in the years since. 2019 saw the release of the Oh, How Perfect EP and Role Model embarked on his first headlining tour that same year. The following year he shared the Our Little Angel EP. 2022’s Rx was supported by the highly successful “TOURx 2022” world tour. Last year, Role Model shared the single “A Little More Time,” which was accompanied by an intimate music video co-directed by Emma Chamberlain.
